I'm very sorry to hear that Sensible 77. I really hoped that you would get a resolution today. As you say, keep hassling them, it has worked for others on this forum. What is it that they are waiting to hear?

Last monthly payment made 3 June 2013 after 6 long years. CC issued 21 August 2013, but, er, lost in the post. Finally got it 17 September.
Brokebryn - Apparently they need the creditor to confirm the dividend. It's extremely frustrating, (to put it mildly and politely), but I'll keep on at them until I get it.
I'm pleased that you're sorted now and no longer on the dreaded Insolvency Register. I looked on it today to see if mine was any different and saw a note at the bottom that seems to apply to all IVa's that it will stay on the register for 3 months after the end of the agreement. Maybe that no longer applies. I hope so as apart from the CC, that really is the final curtain!
My iva is still on the insolvency register. How long do you think it takes to come off? I thought it was after 6 years no matter what, but I've still got defaults (wrongly dated) and the iva.
I had a couple of wrongly dated defaults on my credit report once the 6 years was up but they were only a couple of months late so I just left them as they would be gone or going by the time I got my completion certificate - they have dropped off Experian and Equifax now, and will likely disappear from Noddle tonight as my report there is undergoing its monthly update [the defaults were dated 10 September when they should have been 29 June]. My iva is still showing up on Equifax but I called them today and they apologised and said it would come off within 5-7 working days. Seems a long time to take to to press a button but after 6 years it's no big deal.....
I really don't know what the score is with the insolvency register. Mine was a 6 year iva so maybe that's the reason it has been deleted. I don't know if Payplan had anything to do with it. You have had your cc only for a few days, mine was issued on 21 August but due to a cock up somewhere I didn't find that out until today (!!) - they emailed it to me and are sending a copy. Perhaps a certian time has to elapse? I don't know. All a bit of a mystery - but perhaps one of the experts can throw some light on it?

You come off the Insolvency Register within 3 months of the Certificate of Completion being issued, or at least within 3 months of the Insolvency Service getting their copy from the IP.
The IVA and defaults drop off your Credit Reference Agency Files 6 years from the date of the start of the IVA, assuming you have had the Certificate of Completion and that the defaults were dated correctly.
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.
IVA Completed 23rd July 2013 .... C.C. 10th January 2014
I never like to follow popular opinion based on generalisations, but, to me, it does appear that once your IVA is over some IVA companies lose interest. I’ve e-mailed PayPlan twice and as yet have not received a response to either. One was five days ago, the other two, but during my IVA I received responses to my e-mails within 24 hours at the most. I must be old school, but what’s the harm in saying we’ve got no news yet? It saves a phone call to them which takes up more of their time. Having said that, only being able to call them between 9 & 5 Monday to Friday makes it difficult.
I think I may have worked out who the mysterious creditor is who is delaying my CC. I received a letter from EIF last night saying that MBNA have agreed to the PPI claim and will be sending a cheque to them but if the cheque is sent to me, I should send it to them. Fair enough, but maybe they think that if I receive the cheque, I will cash it and having received the CC, they won’t be able to get it back off me. Just my thoughts, especially as PPI shouldn’t hold up completion with PayPlan due to the MVM.
Sorry to rant on, (and I know that having successfully completed the IVA is the important thing), but I feel that without the CC I can’t move on.

I don't know whether it depends on the quality of your case officer with Payplan. I received prompt replies to emails both during and after my IVA with them, but, admittedly, they were not concerned with the kind of need-an-answer-now-please issue that you have raised with them. On the other hand, as you know, my CC / annual report was lost in the post, which might be a euphemism, so whereas I should have recived the CC on 22/3 August, I have only got it because I chased them up about it 2 weeks after my 3 months anniversary [last payment date]. In all likelihood it is MBNA who is being obstructive, they were with me also, as were Capital One. Howver, their obstructionism did not prevent the issuing of the CC due to the MVM we all agreed to. I'm hoping that it will be resolved for you very shortly Sensible 77, and I am sure it will now that EIF have said MBNA have given way on that issue.

I'd like to think that the particular case officer shouldn’t make a difference as, and I don't mean to denigrate their job, I imagine that they don't have any decision making authority and just follow their procedures. However, I’ve been around long enough to know that people are people and individuals do make a difference. I'm thinking "computer says no" which is what some people go by but some are a bit more human!
I don’t even know if my case officer has read my e-mails as I’ve received no acknowledgment. He could be away from the office, but what difference should that make? It grinds my gears when the “he/she’s on holiday and no one else can help” rubbish is peddled out by companies, not only IVA companies. That’s just a cop out and we don’t use it were I work.
I’m going to have a lie down now!
It's a shame you can't ring them to put them on the spot. It's not always your case office who picks up the phone. but at least whoever does has to give you some kind of answer....

I always get sorted when I ring payplan for owt.
even when my case officer is not there I still get somebody who can help me.just my experience so try again.
cc received 6th January 2014 now upwards and onwards
That's the problem - ringing them. They are only open between 9 & 5 which is inside my working hours and ringing them from work is very difficult. I'm sure I'm not the only one with this problem. As in my earlier posts, I did finish work early last week and rang them. The person I spoke to was polite but couldn't help apart from giving me general information.
can you not go somewhere during your lunch break and do it.or arrange a time for your case worker to call you back on a mobile during your lunch break I have done that before when I could not get case worker.
