IVA started Aug 2012. Last payment made June 2018. Then referred to specialist broker to release equity. No equity could be released. Now December and still no answer at to next step. IVA company just dragging heels.
Have you contacted your IP? The obligation is on you to obtain the re-mortgage (provided the equity is above £5000), whilst the IP may in fact assist you. Have you continued to make monthly payments? If you can not get a re-mortgage then 12 extra payments will be due, if you have stopped paying then you may be in arrears which will need re-paying.
Try calling the IP, if this doesn't work email and write to them. This will at least show you are being pro-active. In the meantime, if you are not paying each month, I would either start paying the IP again. If you do not wish to do this I would put the monthly payment in a separate "pot" to pay over should the IP state that you need to make the 12 extra payments. If you are not paying and don't want to start again until the IP confirms the position I would let them know why you are not paying, that you have the funds set aside and will pay over once the equity issue is resolved.

As has been said already if you haven't tried calling your IP best to do so. It's obviously a pain having to do so but the sooner things are resolved the sooner the IVA can get completed and you can move on.
