Hi
As you probably know I had my full and final settlement figure agreed on the 9th March and my remortgage completed exactly a week later. The funds were sent to my IP by the solicitor the same day.
Spoke to my IP yesterday to ask if they had finalised my IVA and paid my creditors to be told that they have a three month period to conclude my IVA ?? They think that it will be done in about 4 weeks !!!
Nice to see that they are earning the 16k that they have been paid over the three years for arranging and administrating it.My creditors STILL have not received a penny after three years.
Unbelievable or what ??

Hi Andy

Would have been nice of them to inform you of this and you could have earned the interest for 2-3 months instead of them.

Andy

It takes about half an hour of good chargeable time to close down an IVA case. I am amazed that this cannot be done sooner for you.

Just shows the size of the gap between the good and the bad IPs.
Hopefully things are moving in the right direction and we can have a service level that nearly all IPs adhear to.
Really the creditors need to pressure IPs as, after all, they are the paymaster.I wouldn,t be happy waiting 3 years and three months for a dividend.I wonder if the banks etc call the IPs each and every day, and send letters of demand ???[Of course not, only joking !!!]
