I am afraid, as said before, I am Man at Primark ... although I do go upmarket at George now and again !!!!!
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.

LOL Lesley!!!!

I've always liked supermarket clothes, especially since I lost all my weight.

I don't like Primark - the clothes are fine but it's too much like a jumble sale for me.

I like some Primarks but not all, some are really nice and not like a jumble sale. Manchester is horrendous but I still go. Corby and Wolverhampton are nice Primarks (well there the two I find 'nice'.)

The Birmingham one is dreadful. I don't like TKMaxx for the same reason.

Not been to Norwich, it's a wonder really they've not got a standard that stores have to adhere to but none seem consistant. x

I don;t mind primark, I think a lot of it is tat and really poor quality but you can find the odd thing in there if you are prepared to hunt, I hate TKMaxx, I find it just a dreadful place full of junk that nobody really wants anyway.

Went shopping with my daughter yesterday to spend her birthday money, she bought tons of clothes but I only spent £18 which is unheard of for me, I didn't even see much I liked even if I had had the money to spend to be honest, maybe I am changing after all.

I think we have hit the iva equivalent of the 'wall' in a marathon.
We have 15 payments left and its dragging like, well, a really draggy thing.
As others have said, you have to try and focus on the positive things.
We could have been in a 16 year dmp.
Yes, the extra 12 months is a pain but far better than a punitive mortgage extension.
We are better off than we were 57 months ago.
Facing our debt problems was the best thing we did.

But, man, its still dragging.
Aucto Splendore Resurgo.
IVA accepted May 2007.
Extended by 12 months in lieu of equity March 2012.
F+F offer accepted May 2012.
C of C received August 2012.
IVA dropped off credit file 24th May 2013.

For the last couple of months, I have been visiting the forum most days - sometimes more than once a day.

For the first four years, I mostly only logged in when I had problems / questions.

I try and pop in everyday but sometimes life gets in the way. Being a teacher this time of year is hectic with end of year exams etc., Once June comes for me it goes quiet until September. x

I am feeling the same way I have 14 more payments to make and I think about my IVA everyday. I worry about getting though the next 14 months and it not failing at this stage. That is one of the reasons I joined the forum this week. I would look in every so often to read the posts but now I feel I need the support to get to the end. I just hope and pray that the dragging feeling stops.[:)]

I have 7 more payments to go and my current perception of time is that it is practically standing still. There seems to be no halfway measures in my life at all at the moment. I'm so skint it's not funny but after next January I'll be almost 1K a month better off. Some middle ground would be better...:)
