hi - sorry to be in a flap again but got in from work today and got a defauot notice from northern rock - nr are my hubbys biggest creditor - nr have been quiet for weeks now, i am thinking that because they have sent a default notice they are going to vote no at the credotors meeting on monday!

my stomach is in knots! am i just being paranoid or do you guys think by sending this notice there is a good chance they will vote no?

i know i am a pain but i am getting more nervous and edgy by the day, it just seems i cross one hurdle and another appears!

thanks for listening

Try to stay calm Barb, a lot of these letters are computer generated. hopefully this is one of those.
Good luck for Monday, don't let this spoil your weekend.

Hi,
We got a default notice from Mint and they voted Yes. I think it is pretty standard to issue default notices. We just forwarded ours to our IP.

Hi Barb,

I know I am going to be the same..... Please try and contact Melanie. Even if you think you are being irational, she will put your mind at rest.

I do hope you are okay. I send any statements/letters every other day or so into Mels office and so far things are quiet. I know this is set to change though.

Please do not sit and worry on your own, they can do nothing at this time of night so try and rest and speak to Mel either tonight or tomorrow am.

let us know how you get on. Please do not make yourself ill over this it truly is not worth it..

Thinking of you try and keep your chin up xx

Hi All

A Default Notice means what it says on the tin - it simply says that the company considers you to have defaulted on your debt to a sufficient extent that you have broken the original agreement they can pursue you for the full amount, ie not just the regular payments they would normally receive.

It is very standard and rest assured it will have no bearing at all on the outcome of your IVA voting.

Best Regards Simon
