Perhaps they are using the remainder to reduce some of the arrears?

Received letter form NR -our mortgage will be cut from 1st Dec which will make a HUGE difference to us.

If you're in arrears NR will NOT pass on the full cut.

Thank you Johnh, i'm not too comfortable with it being on here though, i personally hate photographs, and there are none in the house, Melanie Giles had us do some shots for PR and one has been used for this I cringe when i see it!
I don't recognise the forum name so am not sure who you are, but if I gave you advice and it helped you in anyway i am happy with that. feel free to hit me with any other query you may have now or in the future, I aim to please, especially so as you've been complimentary!!

we havent had much joy from NR, 1st oct our fixed rate ended and mortgage went up £100. 1st dec it went up another £6.00. when e ring its the automated message saying we will be notified by post and any intrest cuts will take effect from 1st jan 2009. we have the together mortgage, the unsecured element is inc in our iva !!

I am sure that you will get good news this month about the drop in rates, Molly - which I understand NR are passing on to all mortgage customers.

bring it on . just completed our i & e last month and we were actually £60 over spent a month !!! we were however paying back a missed payment in january , so increased the iva payments by £50 to cover this. mortage went up , my son left school so lost the family allowance . roll on novenber 2010 when hopefully this will alll be over !!

Spoke to NR today wrt my Together Mortgage - apparently the 1.5% interest cut last month will take full effect on my account from 1st Jan
