6 years is definately better than a potential of lifetime debt, one year more really won't make a difference when you look at it that way. We were looking at around 20 years of paying off unsecured debt, assuming we didn't get into even more debt. We too are in the process of putting a proposal forward with Melanie and her team and we also have NR as the main creditor. I'm sure your IP wouldn't put a proposal forward if they didn't think they would accept. Good luck and all fingers and toes crossed for you!!! xxx
