Does any body think that now NR are in trouble they will be more exceptable to iva's,or will there negative response continue.
I must admit reading an article earlier where they said all cases are based on the individual circumstances i was quite shocked as when i rang them for help explaining due to ill health i had to reduce my hours at work and was struggeling to pay my creditors i got a big fat NO to every suggestion i made.
So much for helping customers in times of trouble.

There is no indication at present that there is to be any policy change, and IPs are still generally not taking on cases where Northern Rock represent more than 25% of the debt, unless they can demonstrate a very substantial return of capital within a realistic timescale. If the bank is sold, then the policy of the new owners may be different, so we are all watching this space to see what happens.
