You are a credit risk!!

You over extended youself with credit!!!

You could not pay your loans/creditcards etc!!!!

You entered into an IVA to solve the problem!!

Why would anyone lend you more money without asking for a deposit!!!???

Oh! But hang on a moment! You have someone to bail you out - 2 1/2 years earlier than most others!!!

Don't be so greedy!!

Rant over!

Quite frankly, the likes of you make me extremely angry.

Now go away and find another forum to rant on.

GeneralMutton12

Why don't you use some or all of the money your relative is giving you to settle for the deposit - if you are settling 2.5 yrs early it must be a sizeable amount.

Anyone - am I right in thinking that you can get a mortgage (albeit a sepcialist one) when in an IVA?

Sounds to me though, you are the one who is bitter about your friend who has come out of his bankrupcy. Also, sounds like you want your cake and eat it - settle IVA, buy new house etc. Some on this forum don't even have that option. I am afraid I agree with Sadsack !

yes you can get a mortgage while in an iva but you will need a 10% deposit and normally at a higher intrest rate with a special lender

im sure one of the others will have the real facts.

58 PAYMENTS TO GO..
lots of payments to go.

smr, you can get a mortgage whilst in an IVA but it will have to be with the permission of your IP. There are lenders out there who will help you, check on the sites that regularly post on here.

You will possibly not get a high street lender, more than likely one from the sub-prime market and the interest rate will be higher.
