I spoke to my case manager last week as I am having difficulty managing my IVA payments and she was going to send me a new income and expenditure form. This still hasn't arrived, but I did get a letter requesting a cheque for half of my Christmas bonus - the letter is dated 25th January!!!

It's a good job that I have decided to wait until April to see if I get a pay rise before filling out a new expenditure form - it might have arrived by then!

They'll have to wait until I get paid at the end of the month for the money as I had to dip into it due to a few unforeseen problems this month - I wonder if they'll chase me for it...

Onwards and upwards!!!

Chase them up for that income and expenditure, and do expect them to follow up the money if it is rightfully owed under the terms of the arrangement.

If you have incurred additional unforseen expenditure, that equates to more than your 50% share of the uplift, send your IP the details and ask that it be deducted from the payment he is asking for from you. You may need to produce receipts.

I'm quite happy to pay the money, I just can't believe the letter was dated 25th January, and I've rung them 3 times asking for the figure so I could pay for it. Oh well, never mind!

I can cope with the payment - I had to pay for funeral flowers and petrol to get there, so I still have most of the money. I get paid on 25th Feb, so I'll send my cheque then.

I have put in my Bankruptcy post that I am going to hold off asking for a variation as I am hoping for a cost of living pay rise in April, which should make life a little easier. If I don't get one, then I will ask for a variation.

Onwards and upwards!!!
