Not so sure this is a question ... more of a feel good factor... at the end of every month we have no money ... but nor have we built up any more debt. Makes me feel good. :)

Discharged today the 8th feb 2012. View is much brighter now.

I agree - it's lovely not to see any disastrous balances on the bank statements!

And my Vanquis card arrived today - direct debit set up to repay the full amount each month so I don't have to pay the 39% interest!!

IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.

Its a good feeling when no one is chasing you and you have no debt but your iva. Nice post :)

Very true Biscuits.....I also find theres far too much month left at the end of the money lol but cheers you up when you know your on the road to being debt free.
I came into this world with nothing and still have most of it left!

My hubby often says "Can we afford it" well if we couldn't we wouldn't be doing it - Not now anyway. [:)]
We have each other to love and help each other through these dark (ish) days and that costs nothing.
But still would rather have £20 left at the end of the month rather than 9p as it was one month lol

Hi, Ive just made 2nd payment into my IVA and last month was the 1st time for as long as I can remember that I still had some money left in my account when my next lot of wages went in, was a lovely feeling knowing everything I have bought over the month was paid for with my own hard earned money, and not credit or overdraft x
