hi all,
had a great day, daughters birthday etc...

i've just got so many questions/ideas running round in my head.

i would really like to get out of iva once and for all but not sure what to do.

1) i think my house is worth more than we originally thought so i would have aprox £30000 if i sold. i would owe aprox £36000 to iva.

2) partners debts are a lot higher than mine and house is in my name, could i remortgage to pay mine off and he stay in iva/bankrupt.

is there any body who would sit down with us and go through all options?

Hi Kiskea - glad you have had a nice day!

Are you saying that you have debts of £36,000 and property equity of £30,000? How much is your house actually worth, and does your partner live with you? Is he already in an IVA?

Did your IVA include provision for an equity release, and were the IVA's made mutual and interlocking? Could you also confirm the level of your debts please.

The person you need to sit down with is your IP. I suggest that you make an appointment as soon as possible to explore options and seek advice.

Kiska

It is difficult for me to advise further without really looking more closely at your case which is difficult on the forum. I suggest that you have a chat with your own IP and take their advice, as they have detailed knowledge of your case.
