NORTHERN Rock could still owe the Bank of England £5.88billionin 2010, a leaked memo revealed yesterday.
Chancellor Alistair Darling had vowed the bank would be propped up for "a matter of weeks". Tory Philip Hammond said: "Now we learn tapayers will not get their money back for years." The memo lso outlines a possible sale.

So how long before NR are up for sale???? Any guesses!
