Ok - its that time of year that we are due our annual review from GT. No real worries about it as it hasn't really changed much from the I&E sent to them in January.

Time for the odd bit - paperwork arrived from GT and it would appear that they have done the review and submitted it to the creditors! I'm not complaining as it has saved them time and us time when nothing much has changed (although set to in 8 weeks or so when we move!)

Query - on the breakdown of the creditors and the proof of claims it would appear that the debts with First Direct are all incorrect - not so much the amounts but the wrong account number with the wrong amount and this year one more creditor has appeared on our list - HSBC (linked with First Direct) for another amount and an account number I do not recognise. I'm going to write to GT and say that I am disputing the HSBC claim as I believe it has been resubmitted on top of our First Direct ones (think as it was passed to Metropolition Collections the info got messed up) and submit additional evidence (although they might already have it) of paperwork relating to the First Direct debts - is that my best course of action?

Yes - best to draw this to the attention of your IP soonest to avoid dividends being paid to the wrong creditor.

Hi Louisa.s

You will find that HSBC is the ultimate holding company for First Direct, HFC, Beneficial, et al...and that Metropolitan Collections is a paralegal department within the organisation - sometimes another desk in the same office!

Account references can and do change. Rather than disputing the sums, ask GT for a reconcilliation of the original debts as included in the IVA, with the claims lodged for proving. I suspect all will fall into place.
