Hi

Just a quick note to say many thanks for all of your good luck messages it is much appreciated.

Andy / Mel

Could i have your thoughts on this. The paperwork has been received today and the final offer will be 0.23p as opposed to the original offer of approx 0.34p. The original iva over 5 years was for £18,000.00 and including the proposed full and final settlement payment of which has been banked by the IP means that a total of £15.200.00 has been made available over the last 30 months. We do have a breakdown of IP costs detailed.

As our circumstances have drastically changed during the last 4 months, Diane will be made redundant with no redundancy pay at the end of Jan 08 ( she only earns the minimum wage as a hairdresser ) and my income has decreased from £1400.00 per month to £200.00 per month ( carers allowance ) due to having to leave`work to care for my mother who has an inoperable brain tumour - all of this has been detailed to the creditors - then what do you think the chances are of acceptance as the only viable route if not will be bankrupcy. The house is in my name only, the debt is totally Diane's as per the initial IVA acceptance.

Also at the meeting will it need to be 75% by debt value who need to accept.

Cheers

Bob

I think that you have a very good chance of acceptance Bob, and hats off to you for giving up your work to look after your Mum. She is a lucky lady to have such a caring son, and you really do deserve to put this all behind you.

You will need a 75% majority voting at the meeting, for which I send you every luck.

Hi
I also think that your offer will be accepted.Full and finals are liked by creditors as they receive their money alot earlier than in a full term IVA.Given both your change in circumstances I can't see any reason for it being declined

Good luck Bobs, I hope your offer is accepted. I also wanted to say how sorry I am to hear about your mum, and how lucky she is to have a son as caring as you.

Good luck to you, Diane and your mum x

Hi

Well tomorrow at 11.00 we will know if Diane has had her full and final accepted or not. Some strange feelings over the last week as it draws near, trying to convince ourselves that there is no use worrying as what will be will be but I guess it may be a bit of a sleepless night tonight.

Take care all

Bob

Hi there
Just to let you all know that the full and final settlement figure was accapted on Wednesday at 0.23p instead of original offer of 0.34p. Only one creditor, nationwide voted, but now it is all over.

I would like to thank you all for the support over the last few months it has meant a lot to both of us. It is superb to know that there are sites such as this, in fact this site made us aware of the possibility of a full and final.

Once again many thanks for all your help esp to Andy and Mel and we will still log on in future to offer any help that we can

Take care all
