As I've emailed the entire board members I'm sure it will get sorted. Just means I'll still be employed and they have to pay me...which given that I'm on full sick pay at the moment, isn't the best option financially for them.

At least with my laptop working again I can access emails 24/7.

I've now received a revised letter, figures correct [:)]

I've signed and returned so tomorrow morning I will wake up unemployed...yikes [:0]

Tomorrow I will treat as a working day, update CV and apply, apply, apply!

Lets hope I have some positive news to post soon xx

Thanks...I tell you job hunting is blooming tiring! I spent ages updating my CV and still not happy with it.

Applied for 3 jobs...none of them accept CV's so had to complete forms online.

I've emailed a few contacts from my old workplaces too and one has asked to meet up for lunch. So you never know.

I did see a post for debt management but they were only paying £12k!

Thanks Mrbluesky....just seen your post on Quarks's thread.

I'm more than happy for you to have my email...I think if you add me as a Frugal friend you see my email. If not I'll email admin and ask them to pass my details to you.

You have to add each other as Frugal Friends. Your email address won't show up, but you can send a message to the other person.

Good Luck with the job hunting Julie. I know how you feel about it being tiring. I have been on a course today about cvs and interviews. I have to re do mine and it is real hard work aplying for jobs. I went through this 2 years ago and did not really expect to do it again but heyhoe thats how things are at the moment.

Good luck to you too Linda.

I'm getting an ex colleague of mine to look at my CV...its annoying me that I can update and create other peoples but my own is quite poor! I always advise on having more than one CV...adapt to each position.

I think there's a high volume of jobs out there, but a very high level of applicants.[:(]

It is draining though isn't it?

Have you signed up with agencies?

Hi
Yes we were told to adapt Cvs for each position.
I am still working at the moment, my post is being deleted on 31st May, nice way of putting it! There will be some redeployment but there are not as many jobs on the register as I hoped
have apllied for a couple still waiting to hear. So I have not signed up with any agencies yet.
We are also having problems with our youngest daughter who has a 2 year old son she is coming back to live with as us as she is spliting with her partner mainly over money problems, they are renting privately and cannot afford it anymore. Much as I love my grandson it is going to be hard work having him live with us. At the end of the day you have to be there for them.
Hope you get something sorted soon.
