Sorry to hear that Lesley. Hope your job is ok.

Glad you're sorted now Julie and hope you find something soon Skippy.

Good luck for Monday Julie!

There's just nothing out there at the moment as there's no way I can afford to take a pay cut. I'm more relaxed than I was as I'm now thinking that I'll do what I can do and that's it. I don't know if it's the right attitude, but it's not worth making myself ill over.

I've still got a mouthful of ulcers though!

I think you have just the right attitude Skippy! Do you think the ulcers are stress related?

My new job is lower salary on the face of it...but its a lot less hours and I'll be working with a team so should be a lot less stressful too. So taking everything into account..the lower salary evens out, if you know what I mean?

I've always suffered from ulcers but I'm getting a few at a time now soI think it is stress related. I was suffering with really bad itchy skin as well, but that seems to be better. I'm going for a blood test in a couple of weeks so hopefully they'll find out if I'm lacking anything!

Your new job sounds really good and I'm glad it's less stressful.

Everything I've looked at so far is either for a lot less money but the same (or more) hours, or the same money with more travelling or more work.

At the moment I work 15 minutes drive from home, I'm on reasonable money for what I do, and I work with people that I consider friends. Yes I'm stressed, but I don't know if I'd be any less stressed anywhere else.

You need to have tests done Skip...I can still remember the pain of mouth ulcers, attimes I couldn't talk with having so many at one time. Thankfully I know its milk that triggers them so I don't get many now. Only when I give in and have a frothy coffee!!

Keep looking on the job front..you never know and if you want me to look at your CV, just email it to me.

Thanks for that Julie, I'll have to do some work on my CV, but if you don't mind looking at it for me that would be great.

I can't promise anything, but I'll format it and pop in a few buzz words that us HR lot look for.

Just update it with your details and I'll do the rest..or if you haven't got a CV just send me your details and I'll do a CV for you. Only if you want me to of course...I'm a bossy thing I know [:D]

There is a call for CV writing around here Julie, so many come in to college to ask for CV's to be written, if you lived around here I'd put them all your way and you can make some money x

Ah bless ya, these are just enquiries of people I don't know, I'm sure we could do them at college but legislation at that we're not allowed. x
