This sort of think really makes my blood boil. They know rightly that your IVA was accepted, but their internal administration system is absolutely hopeless.

Don't worry FD - I will set the Rottweiler at this on Monday morning (commonly known as Liz who deals with creditor claims and works in my Belfast office). Don't worry - she only becomes a Rottweiler when dealing with stupid debt collection companies!

Unfortunately Mercers are unlikely to be victims - indeed with the job losses going, they are probably one of the few growth industries at the moment!

The call centres obviously haven't been told yet.

I must admit that if they had called me at 7.30 my language would have been rather choice down the the phone!

They can speak to your IP as you have already given them permission - I just think they choose not to. Perhaps afraid of having their heads bitten off?

Lets hope Mels Rottie gets through to them!

They are allowed to check the register. If they call again, insist on speaking to a supervisor and insist that they check the register - anyone can check it. Tell them you will be making a complaint about the harrassment if they don't desist.

That's no problem Fergie. I'm here to support everyone who needs it, whenever I can.

People like that do my head in.
"Can you send us a copy of your IVA report?"

Er no. I am not willing to spend even the cost of a postage stamp on you when I can quite easily give you my IP's name and contact details. Alternatively, you can search my name on Insolvency.org - you'll find me there along with details of IP
