My hubby comes on the computer and when he goes off he always puts the forum page back up for me. He says to me " i've put iva on for you" as in ivor, if you get what I mean. He even asks how is iva today.

Meant to say Connie, I am glad you are feeling better. It takes a weight off just being able to talk about it doesnt it. Debt is always a difficult thing to talk about. Thats one of the great things about the forum, nobody judges, we all have such similar feelings, its so nice to not feel alone as so many do with debt.
I hope you are going to come on the 29th, it will be lovley to meet you.

yeah it does, i think because so many people on here are in the same situation there is no judging even the ip experts don't judge which i think is great. thats whats always made me be so scared to go to anybody to talk about my financial situation. i probably wouldn't be in the this mess now if i'd only had the bottle to talk to someone.
i'm married and all our debt is joint. but my husband is so laid back he'd fall over and nothing at all bothers him so i find that when i'm in full on panic mode about our debt i have nobody to talk to cos when i try and talk to him the instant response is "don't worry. it'll sort itself out"
the thing is it won't sort itself out we have to do something about it which is why i started the search about IVA's.
yeah i will definately try and make it. i might get lost like. i hate birmingham i always get lost. last time it took me over an hour to find the motorway to get out. lol.

Your storys sound very familiar....

As i sit here looking at my computer i have two tabs open... IVA.co.uk and Facebook !!!

This website really is addictive,i have only been on for about 2 months and find it very interesting to read other peoples posts and try and help were i can.

My wife is very understanding (i think) when she hears me typing she always knows what i am doing and just lets me get on with it - Sunday nights are great - she has Lost on tv again i have IVA.co.uk !!!

My productivity dropped at work in the first month, no longer post at work (maybe the odd one here and there) spend most of my evenings on the computer.

But i will be honest i have learned things from this site i didnt know.

Just wish Andy would add a spellchecker as my english is tirrable !
