We take 20 minutes in a morning and afternoon and 36 minutes for lunch (very precise, and don't ask me how they work it out!). However we do sit at our desks, and if the phone rings then we answer it and deal with it.

Otherwise we sit there and either read or play card games on the computer.

36 minutes wow that is precise! People find it precise that I work 1.05 - 8.35 on a Monday, not 1pm-8pm! Like you say they work it out and I just follow suit, I never stay till 8.35, last student goes I'm out of there!

We only get breaks if we smoke which has always been a sore point with me! Luckily there's only one person who does that now.

I love reading - at the moment I'm reading Trunk Music by Michael Connolly and Skin and Bones by Kathryn Fox.

BTW I only sit down if my back's playing up, and when it's ok I can still touch my toes.

That's mean Skippy about the breaks only if you smoke that discrimination in favour of smokers!

I can touch my toes as well![:D]

We make drinks all the time, we only have a couple of smokers and they just disappear every so often. No one really minds as they are very hard workers.

We can have drinks whenever we want and have them at our desk etc., so it's not bad.

Monday's are ok as we shut between 4.30 and 5.30pm and actually do nothing for a change x

Before our pig of a boss retired a couple of years ago, we were not allowed to drink or eat at our desks, hence the tea breaks being allowed. We had to go to the canteen, which was always crowded. Of course when he wasn't there we used to do what we wanted.

Now it's drinks and food in the office and we love it!

Jan I've just got ready for bed and you'd set me a challenge (not directly) that I had to try, I took my boots off and my trousers without sitting down and my socks.

I can touch my toes with my feet together but the backs of my legs were a bit tight, I need to loosen up, put my hand directly on the floor with my feet around 12" apart! How sad am I?

No don't answer that last bit but had to try all those!

Well done!

I can put my hands on the floor with my feet together as well. I've always been able to do that, even when I was overweight.

I can also bend my elbow backwards![:D]
