I couldn't do a festival either...unless I had one of those fab massive motorhome thingys!! [:D][:D]

I've been to a few concerts with hubby but can't say i really enjoyed them...The Doves were probably the best.

I've seen a lot of musicals in London and am going to see Dirty Dancing as part of daughters hen do.

I could watch a musical I think, dirty dancing sounds fab, I'm sure you'll enjoy that.

Hubby is sat here arguing I've seen Walk the Line but if I have my memory is worse than previously thought as I've no recollection of it! x

I would say the two best concerts I've been to would be U2 on The Joshua Tree tour 1987 and more recently Faithless, although Jean Michelle Jarre last May was a sight to behold.

Not a big theatre goer. I prefer my musicals on tele.

I'm going to be really, really sad here to say that the concerts I have done have been Leo Sayer and Elkie Brookes (70's), Michael Bolton (4 times to date - think he is great!) and Boyzone (took the daughter!)

She's been and done everything from Avril Lagigne to Metallica!

Get hubby to tell you about the two Michael Bolton concerts I took him to!

Johnny Cash connects me with my childhood which is why he's adamant I've seen it but I'm sure I haven't!

Don't do country music at all!

Don't wish to pee in your pond Jan but when I took the wife to see Michael Bolton in Manchester the best part was when the crowd did a mexican wave.........it was great.

Hubby would probably agree with you - just ask him to tell you how many lights there are above the stage in the Symphony Hall in Birmingham!

Perhaps me and your wife should go next time![:D][:D]

I love Johnny Cash! My dad was really into country music and I grew up with it. I've got Walk the Line on DVD but I've never actually watched it.

The first Now album I bought was now 5 on tape. I can remember buying it when I was visiting my nan in Somerset. My favourite was Now 7, but I stopped buying them at about Now 17.

Does anyone know if you can buy any of the older Now albums on CD? I've tried looking but I haven't been able to find anything.

Hate Johnny Cash!

Don't do country at all, but do admit to loving the last Lynyrd Skyrnd album which is very much country rock.

They're the American ones unfortunately Julie. I wish I'd never got rid of all my cassettes, but I didn't have anything to play them on so didn't see the point of keeping them.
