Hi everyone, I noticed in the TV mag the other day that the old eighties drama, Knight Rider is back on the telly next week but will be a new revamped series with new characters, plus of course KITT the talking car[:D]..while I used to enjoy watching it back then[:I],forget David Hasselhoff,it was the car that I drooled over,[:p] I don't understand why they have to keep bringing back "original" programmes but with brand new characters, and it's never as good as the original, usually completely different so why don't they just rename it something else instead?, at least then you wouldn't be comparing it to the previous one, is it just me?..[:D]

I totally agree!

I would much rather watch re-runs of the old programmes than watch newer versions of them!

I think it depends on the programme. I have to say that I never watched Nightrider first time round, and won't be bothering this time either!

I wasn't a fan first time round either.

I did watch the first episode of the new Reggie Perrin series a couple of weeks ago and I wasn't impressed!

I liked Reggie Perrin but never watched the original, I missed out on a lot of music and TV as we had neither in our house when I was growing up. Think it was mid 80's before I started watching TV although I did watch Romper Room at a friends once and Miss (can't remember her name) said my name when she was looking through her magic *thingy* at the end and I went around convinced for years she actually saw me!
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.

I love all the old sitcoms, and I am sucker for a carry on film.

I can sit through a Carry On film without laughing! I do have a sense of humour though - I love things like Fawlty Towers, Only Fools and Horses, Father Ted!

I didn't realise it was on at the moment, I'll have to keep a look out for it. I think the scene where Del Boy leaned on the bar hatch that wasn't there is one of the funniest things I've seen.

They show them every now and again over the weekends! We love curling up and watching them.
I also love things like Vicar of Dubley (even though its not that old).
