Just doing some washing up and watched the postie come up the path and straightaway I could see in his hand an envelope from GT...the light blue GT address on the front!

It has arrived, final confirmation that it is all over! It said my CC is enclosed. Now I expected a certificate like you get on a course but there is none. On the back of my final Report to creditors there is a piece of paper not letter headed or anything, titled 'Notice that the IVA is fully implemented' then it starts 'I Gareth Neill of GT blah blah'....is that it...is that the certificate?

I also have a customer feedback form that I will be filling in. I will try and be as fair as I can be, I will compliment them on their good points but will give my opinion on what is letting them down.

Happy Bunny now [:D]

Awww thanks guys for your comments, I wish you all well especially those starting and going though their IVA journey and a journey it is with a bumpy ride thrown in here and there. I remember way back in my early IVA days and reading posts from people saying their IVA was complete (think Andy Davie might be one of them)thinking you lucky buggars now I am there in that place I longed to be. When i read posts from people considering an IVA my heart goes out to them. I've been in those shoes. With me the first year went quickly, the second and middle year were stressful, car breaking down, additional expenses, last 2 years seemed to go relatvely quickly. Am I glad I did it...well I didn't have many options IVA and bankruptcy unless I fled the country. I am in a signifcantly better position than I was pre IVA downside is poor credit rating..but hey that can be repaired over time. IVA has taught me a very valuable lesson, live within my means, do not take the money I now have for granted and don't overindulge on material things that are not necessary. I am determined to never ever put myself in this position again.

Wine is already chilling for later :)

Well done !! You deserve that wine. Congratulations on receiving your certificate or (piece of paper). I emailed Karol this morning & have received an email back to say that they have requested an update from the closures team on the progress of my case. They will be in contact early next week. I hope mine will be here soon.
