Car Insurance:
My insurance went up massively last year, even though I have 6 years no claims. When I phoned them they said it was because of my postcode and that every year different postcode areas become a high risk and cause higher insurance. They 'very kindly' offered to review my payments and sent me out a new quote which worked out £2 less!!!!! Problem was I couldn't go with a cheaper insurance because I didn't have the deposit, so have had to stay with this insurance company.

50:
I will be 51 this year and can't believe it - still trying to come to terms with being 50. I hate filling in the online surveys where you have to click on your age group (which is always a long way down the list!!)

Hope it's a decent price Lesley!!!

Ours is pretty static at the moment, only gone up by a few pounds this year.

Well it's amazing Lesley, we told Kwik fit in the nicest possible way to go forth and multiply as we are going with LV at £300 for the year, amazingly they came back with a cheaper quote than the £300 offered by LV opposed to the £695 renewal they sent, amazing that isn't it?, we still told them to shove it though

I would have done the same Lem.

As I said earlier I would like to see what they offer me as a renewal price and I'm already with LV. I saw and advert for them this evening and commented to hubby that's who we're with as he wouldn't have a clue and he just wants me to ask them what has a child dressed as a banana on a zebra crossing got to do with car insurance!
