Hi Kallis,
Gad to hear you're staying away from buses!!
Hope the insurance works out for you and they have a suitable policy that will help.

I took out a life insurance policy using my contingency money each month - £15 per month and this covers my husband for £150K in the event of his death! Well worth the £15 a month to know everything would be covered and there would be enough for a deposit on a house too!

Only problem for us is that with his health problems, I doubt if anyone would touch him. We could probably do it without taking pre existing conditions into account, but as that is more than likely what will carry him off, I think I would be wasting my money.

If they were to cover us for his problems, the premiums would be prohibitively (I doubt if I've spelt that right!) expensive.

The spelling looks just fine to me. Yes I would think any premiums to cover existing conditions would be very high if available at all.
Discharged today the 8th feb 2012. View is much brighter now.
Continuing to rebuild our credit worthiness.
