In an IVA it is living above Survival realm, very little for luxuries and with increase cost and burden it can be impossible....
I think it is easier to live on an IVA now then when there was a boom.The obsentatious spending have ended and extravagancy is now frowned upon lest you are Paris Hilton.No one will feel hawkish when you see neigbours rolling in a new bimmer. Knowing the world is pretty much insolvent brings some perverse relieve - it can't be one person's fault - no its the Western world gone mad on credit fuelled prosperity.
