You have taken the right step and its good you feel so positive about it at such an early stage. I remember the releif i felt and whilst my finances were tight wen entering the IVA, they were a dam site better than the 18 months prior to this; that and the fact that it was the only thing that stopped MBNA harrassing me at work.

I know 6 yrs seems an eternity, but i made my last payment last week and mine was a similar term. The last 18 months have flown and i wish you all the best with your IVA. well done
