Quote"you are far better going bankrupt as theyt get nothing"
This forum is to help people with serious debts repay their creditors as much as they can with the full support of other forum members. We are not interested in finding ways to NOT pay our creditors, nor do we take any form of satisfaction in not repaying our creditors.
You need to think carefully about your statements if you want to continue posting on this forum.

Thank you Andy - I wanted to say that but felt it was not my place. Some of these posts today have been quite frankly ridiculous!

Thank you Andy/Melanie

I thought it was just me, I too felt some of these posts today have been inappropriate.

I agree, and I don't think some of the posts give a very good or encouraging impression to anyone reading the forum looking for help and advice.

Hi
I want to keep the forum as open as possible but at the end of the day I want it to be,or become, the leading voice regarding debt and debt solutions.
We are all here to debate debt and the various solutions available and above all to give support. We are not here to discuss or promote ways to avoid repaying our debts.
Regards

I also think some of the posts have been really inapropriate to those who are willing to pay back as much as possible ad those who dont ever want to touch credit again. I also thought it was just me maybe being "picky"
Im glad im not on my own.

At the risk of being disliked, banned and not too popular, I just have to say this.

Awww come on guys, it is not obvious what is happening here, cant you just not answer certain questions???

I am quite sure that there is no harm meant or any intention to offend. We are all different and function at different levels, if you get my meaning but we can cope with that, right?

I do agree about the trying not to pay the creditors back, thing, we cant encourage any of that.

Hi
Your a big softy Lily, but that,s why we love you.
I had to censor one of JP posts yesterday and have tried to give him time to settle down but I can,t risk the integrity of the forum any longer.

Although i do mostly agree with lily, i also still think some of the posts were inapropriate. We all joined this forum to deal with our own debt problems and help others if we can, not to be taught how to get back in the mire or get away without paying. Those that have gone bankrupt have obviously had a horrible journey and i know if i was i that position i wouldnt want it to be made to look clever because i had got away with it.
No offence to anybody, its just that somethings are obviously still very raw to a lot of forum members.
lily this is in no way a dig at you, the advice you give others is always brilliant and i too have learned a lot from it.
It's obvious you are a very caring person.

I am glad you are monitoring these posts as I was worried at advice given to a first time poster the other day.
Obviously they were worried enough to try and seek some help and advice and were advised to get a loan to consolidate and rates were even quoted and even a link supplied I believe.
I think this is very dangerous to be giving advice like this, even though I think its given with the best of intentions
Be positive & look after yourself, there are more important things in life than debts....

Best Wishes

I do agree that JP probably had all the very best intentions.

Dont worry guys and thanks for you kind words, I am just thinking as a parent of special needs kids. Somthimes its stupid question day, week, month year, if you get my meaning. Its genuine to the person asking.

I totally understand the advice and BR points that were raised, and as our emotions are understandably raw I was afraid that JP wasmt able to understand.

I am sure we can all rely on Andy's intergrity in this matter.

I am not trying to offend anyone or judge anyone, I just feel a little bit sorry for JP and his apparent 'innocence'.

Its a difficult one.

No offence taken skint
