Hi - you'll come through the shame when you realise how hard you are trying to pay off your debts with an iva! There really is no reason to tell your dad, better you enjoy the time you have. My best friend and grandad both have cancer which is only being treated with palliative care and my iva is the last thing I want to waste time talking about. On a more crass note (sorry in advance) inheritance must be paid into the iva to improve your dividend to creditors. How you feel about this may influence your decision and how you go about the iva. I'm sorry to year about your dad and hope he has a lot of living in him yet xx

So sorry to hear about your friend and grandad, it's a tough time for you too.
I hopefully will not have any inheritance due as my mum is still ok and is only 63. I woud be devestated to inherit my parents money and have to clear debts with it. The guilt would kill me, i'm sure.

Hi just wanted to tell you you're not alone, big hug. we've lost dear relatives to cancer,it's a terrible time but also time with them is so precious.
we like you are at the very start of all this. check out reviews by the link posted in previous messages. we spoke to Tina who's on Melanie Giles' team and decided to go with them. I was warned to avoid anyone charging up front fees.
If you can get help with the debt you can concentrate more on your little family and you Dad,let someone else take the weight of the debt.
Will keep you in our prayers x
Nothing stays the same...everything changes..hang on in there!
