Thought it was going too well!!
Been in IVA 15 months now and managing to keep my head above water (JUST!!), I had even saved £200 towards a short holiday.
That was until some kind person thought it would be a good idea to smash the side window on my car to steal my mobile phone which I foolishly left on the passenger seat[V][V][V]
Result,£70 excess on insurance to repair window plus I have to replace the mobile because it's not covered by insurance.
I did have a little nest egg for a holiday, now I don't.
Just goes to show that when you are in an IVA even small mishaps can tip you over the edge, if I hadn't managed to save my 'holiday fund' I would have been stuffed [:(!][:(!][:(!]
IVA COMPLETED ON THE 17th MARCH, FINAL I&E COMPLETED 26th APRIL, COMPLETION CERTIFICATE ARRIVED 2nd AUGUST

Northumbrian, what bad news! There are certainly some scum about.

I am only two months in and just about keeping my head above water, but have no contingency fund at the moment.

I hope things get better for you.

What a pain ... someone did that for my sat nav last year ... stupid to leave it in I know but I was rushing to see a bereaved family ... a neighbour even left a note on the windscreen saying who had done it, I think because my "Ministers" sign was in the window and they felt sorry for me. I informed the Police and all they said was "we thought he was still inside"!
