Hi All:
I had my interview this morning. It was with a woman, the examiner, plus a second guy who was appraising her. I must say, it was about as difficult going as I had expected it to be.
She was slightly judgemental in my opinion, and lacked any real personality. Mind you, she was there to do her job so it didnt really surprise me!
Ran through every card and loan in great detail. Went through my I&E. I was concerned that they wouldnt accept my high fuel bills, but when I produced the last 12 months bills for the electricity, Oil and water, she photcopied them and accepted them [:)]. She also accepted the pet insurance and dog food bills at £ 72.00, to which I was very surprised. I am borderline as to whether I will get an IPA, but she will let me know in due course.
Lasted 3 hours in total. I spent a LOT of time preparing, going through all my bank statements and listing what I had spent it all on, where, when etc. This proved VERY useful, and my advice to anyone else in this situation is prepare yourself as much as possible, it only helps you out.
I also had to make a statement about why I had got into debt, what the balance of my debts was roughly at various stages etc etc.
What an enormous relief, but far from a walk in the park !
