Hi Pippa, quick question. Did he give you the option of someone buying your car rather than sending it to auction? I have a friend that it willing to loan me the money so I can keep my car. But I believe we're in the same neck of the woods and I was hoping that the OR would allow more like 3.5K! Ho hum, maybe time for a rethink!

Hi BrassicLintus

That question hasnt been asked yet, I am assuming if he comes back and says its 3.2k for example they will give me the option of paying the extra to keep it if I could get someone to raise the money, but I am not counting on it so really the quick answer is I dont know sorry [:I], but I will post again when I do

How are things going?

Pippa

Hi Pippa, i'm so-so! Have good days and not so good! Had my 5 minutes of fame in the Western Mail yesterday! Just waiting for the snide comments! But so far so good! Just waiting in general really, OR interview not till next week so hoping to get things cleared up then. I was hoping I'd get answers to the questions about my house and car next week so it can all be done and dusted and I'd know where I was going but I guess it all takes time doesn't it. How are you coping?

I know the OR's staff in your office quite well, and feel that they will not allow a car of more than £3,500. Make sure that you come up with a credible deal and this will save them the bother of having to collect the car and sell at auction.

You know you two ought to arrange to meet up for a coffee (or glass of wine). You live sooooooo close to each other!!!!

Hi BrassicLintus

Did they tell you the date of the advert, because the OR hasnt mentioned it to me so I thought it hadnt happened yet! Have I missed my 15 mins of fame [:I], hope so [;)].

Hi Pippa, well I was in the Western Mail on Wednesday!!!! Nearly died because I was in work and a mate had just brought the paper in to read and I got to it first and ripped it out!!!! It was only small and it wasn't in yesterdays so hopefully it was only in there one day! I didn't see any BR notices with the name Pippa tho!!!
