I read about this at the weekend.

If the scaremongers are to be believed, about 4 or 5 years after the 'experiment', pinpricks of light will appear in the Indian Ocean, and these will spread. It will mean the beginning of the end of the earth.

Lets hope they are wrong!

Hubby's just commented a couple of weeks ago, he was watching a programme on Discovery about the end of the world ( He likes light entertainment [:D]) He can't remember all the details but it was along the lines that the calenders of several ancient civilisations, notably the Aztecs or the Mayans ended on Dec 21st 2012. As this ties in with your post Jan, it's a bit spooky isn't it
