my husband and myself are in a joint iva and our first years i& e form is due. last month our circumstances changed as i have been forced to leave work as my mother is seriously ill and i am caring for her. I intend to go back to work asap and am at present receiving carers and attendance allowance to look after her. This covers my wage so we can still make the required monthly payment. Does anyone know if this will be acceptable to our ip. As it is our first review i would appreciate any advice on this. thanks

Thankyou for replying Melanie that has really put our minds at rest. do you think that we should send a covering letter with our I & E form to clarify the situation?

Covering letter is a good idea, and your IP will appreciate your honesty.
