Can you put in outstanding fuel/telephone bills into a iva without being cut off?

Hi wlb

Absolutely, but make sure you keep the utility companies informed of what you are doing. If the amounts owed are quite small, sometimes it is better to just keep paying off the arrears with your regular standing order though, to avoid unecessary confusion.

I agree with Melanie, if the amounts are small then it will usually be possible for your IP to allow lower initial monthly contributions to your creditors until the arrears have been met.
