Hi to all

MY husband and i started our IVA in March 2008. We were both working and we were told we were responsible for each others iva.

On my husbands proposal it states he is allowed to keep 10% above the take home pay stated on proposal and has to pay 50% of anything above this. including overtime bonuses etc,
This is also stated on mine.
However from this month my wage will be less than that stated on my proposal and am wondering if my husband would still have to send the extra amount he earns eventhough totalling both wages together would not add up to the amount on original proposal for both of our salaries.
i have had my hours reduced from 30 hours per week working days to 20 hours a week working 4-9 over 4 nights. because I work after 6pm i get what is called extended working allowance which is extra for working unsocial hours. Is this classed as bonus etc. I still dont earn as much as i did before even with this allowance.
I would greatly appreciate any help

Please contact your IP directly and let him or her know of the changes to your circumstances.

It is not in anyone's interests to let this arrangement fail, so I can only encourage you to keep a record of all the changes in your circumstances to let your IP have all the facts at his or hers fingertips.

Good luck.

The loss in your income should be offset against any gains in your husbands.
