How is overtime looked at in Bankruptcy??does anyone know ?

It is not really taken into account for the calculation of disposable income, unless it is guaranteed overtime.

I realise this is in the wrong place now ... does anyone know how would the car stand in bankruptcy. worth between £3500-£4000 but owe £1500 on car repayment amount is £195 got 8 months left , work shifts and travel all over the north west to different stations , Do you think hubby could keep car?

Hi Nicky

It is difficult to believe that you are being denied an IVA by one creditor who started off being owed approx £5k and are now demanding six times as much. Incredible!

You will need to persuade the finance company and the OR as to your need for a reliable car, but stand a fair chance of retaining it in my opinion.

We haven't given up on the IVA yet, and I will be meeting up with Phil on Wednesday to find out more about his investigation.
