overtime money payments

hi - its me again! - sorry to mither you all - i know that if i earn any overtime, according to my contract that i will pay 50% into the IVA - but my question is: if i contact my IP straight away and inform them i have earned "x" amount overtime - will the 50% be taken straight away or will it be done at the review? i would rather keep upto date so i know where i am upto!! thanx

I assume it would be paid across straight away. If not you would have a very hefty bill at review date!

Im sure alot of people send a cheque to there IP monthly

We make an additional payment whenever we have extra to pay over following our bonus each year - it is so much easier knowing that you are up to date and don't owe any more !

Hi,

You can always check with your Supervisor. If your IVA is post 1st February 2008 and is a Protocol compliant one then the answer is yes. Otherwise check the Terms of your proposal.
