Thanks Ian.

Melanie, I have spoken to Angela she has told us just to send the paperwork in - is there anything we need to do apart from send the paperwork?

see hun! everything will be ok! amex have a court hearing for a charging order on our property but melanie said it will be dealt with and not to worry!

you know what really annoys me about amex is that i wrote to all of my creditors in the beginning to advise them i was applying for a iva but i wish i hadnt because amex just jumped in straight away, went for a ccj and then a charging order. if i had not wrote to them it would have taken them weeks to realise i was defaulting - sometimes it seems the fairer you are the worse off you come!

anyhow hope you feeling a bit brighter now!

love barb x

Thanks Barb, I had the exact same thought. Problem is like you and most other people on this forum, I am not unfair or unrealistic and I really wish I could pay all the money back. I understand why they do what they do but feel that if they gave us a bit more of a chance they would be more likely to get more back.

I am feeling brighter - I have been chasing you round this forum for days lol. I'm glad there are people like you on here!

X

I have to say I have had some very bad days over the last few weeks but they are getting fewer as the end of the road (light at the end) gets nearer.

Just a thought for the day (or two thoughts perhaps) that makes me feel better:

Though I never like people saying there are people worse off than me I just remind myself of all the c... I have had to deal with over the past 20 years, and belief me it has been C... with a capital and that my financial situation in comparison seems lightweight.

2nd thought - most people have c... (I would say we all do at some time) and just put the levels of it in perspective - so that means if you run out of lime for the lager then just drink the lager, if you've not got any chocolate then any cheap stuff you were saving for cooking tastes good - the same goes for any cheap plonk you've been saving - if you haven't got any good stuff the cheap stuff will taste ok.[:)[:o)].

My colleagues at work have start a Betty's top tip of the day on the white board - I think I will add the above to it next week.

I once said Primark knickers no good as they just fall down - the next thing I knew the tip of the day written for all to see on the big board - Betty says - Never where Primark knickers whilst standing up.

Yes I am thank you and its all due to the support I get from here - all that and I have had a very busy day at work. I keep smiling and going. Have had a couple more chats with Melanies team and feel very much looked after. Don't know the outcome properly yet but it doesn't seem as bad as I first thought.

Pulled myself together I have minor wobbles!

Not nice coming in from work finding rubbish letters - totally not natural for me to rip people off - that's what I feel like I'm doing.
