Morning everyone, hope you're all keeping well, once again I've been on shifts all week and only just had chance to look into the forum.

Work have been negotiating our pay rise since the end of last year, because it has taken so long there will be some back pay due round about August/September. We have been in our IVA since April 1st. Any back pay will incorporate overtime worked as well, I am concerned that the figure will be taken as a whole when it comes to our next payslip review (have one every three months).

I will definately be contacting my IP with regards to this, I was just wondering if anyone else had been in the same situation and could shed some light (fore warned is fore armed and all that [:)])

The rise itself, wouldn't cover the increase in our monthly gas bill alone,so I am hoping that their will be no increase in our payments. It's just that it will only show as an additional payment on my payslip that month and would definately be more than 10% of my monthly salary.

Any advice welcome and good luck to anyone with meetings on the horizon [:D]

I had similar last issue last year - just after our IVA was approved I received back pay in my November pay for my pay rise from July onwards as well as a one off performance bonus - my IP took all my pay rise prior to the IVA and 40% of my bonus - the pay rise was taken as it was deemed to have been prior to the IVA and therefore should have been paid to my creditors - the 60% of my bonus was mine to keep!

Yeh, I had the same situation were my pay rise was in September and my IVA proposal was submitted in August.
I had to include my pay rise into my IVA and they increased my monthly payments by a tenner.
Fortunately I didnt receive any backpay as it was a three yr deal otherwise I guess that I would have to included this as well

As for a bonus, again it really depends on your chairmans report.
Mine said that anything over the 500pound mark had to be paid into my IVA, but some people have to pay a percentage whatever the amount received.
