Hi
I agree
I was re reading the full post as Melanie was replying and I,m certain that it is because of the advice and support of this forum that Mondays Expert decided in the end to offer a 25p dividend to finish his IVA.A far better return for his creditors and a goos result for him.
Well done Mondays Expert

Yeah - advice from informed sources is a must.
Just knowing that the offer was reseasonable and that others had achieved a full & final settlement was a huge help!!

I take comfort in realising that the fact that I started my IVA 2 years ago and it was the right choice for me - God Forbid, I had struggled thru and ended up with a NR loan (Or similar) and still been stuck 6 months or a year down the track - with no options and creditors who won't "allow" IVA's.

I say to anyone considering an IVA or Bankruptcy get good advice and as much advice from many sources, find a close friend you can discuss things with -(and of course friends from forums like this!!)
Then when you are ready let other people know in your own time - when you feel comfortable about the whole thing.

Don't worry I will be dropping in from time to time to put in my 2 pence worth - and to give something back -it's only fair

ALSO I will need advice how to quickly clean up my credit rating and make sure I come off "the register" correctly etc etc.

next step - the birth of baby and the challenges that will bring

cheers Monday's Expert
