Well firstly, BIG thanks to this site. Over this past 4 years I have looked to the forums and been inspired by some of the posts. I am pleased to of completed my IVA.

I shall continue to look at this site and where possible add comments that may be of value.

This IVA really has been hard and harder than I thought it would be. I can still recall the B&E Rep saying you will need to be comitted to making sure each payment is made.

Keep going is the message from me, as I have now paid back almost a mortgage for a first time buyer, did not think I would make it.

I have looked forward to this day for ages and have booked a days holiday from work. To go and buy 2x Hamsters (My old one died week before Christmas) and take my girl friend for Fish and Chips by the sea. No major spending, so yes I did learn.

So what happen now, GT have advised they will contact all creditors, following closure and then in 6 months my credit file should be clear. Any tips???

All the best, a very satisfied DJ!

IVA completed 24 payments of £606 36 payments of £825 and 6 payments of £949 done!!
Keep with it, keep going there is an end.

Congrats DJ, good luck on your debt free future. Personally I'd just kick back and relax, nothing major will happen until the 6 year point.
Last Payment made 04/12/14. Completion Certificate 25/7/15. IVA company GT. No Issues

Congratulations, it's such a great feeling isn't it. Enjoy your fish and chips by the sea, and hope you get some real cute hamsters, perhaps you should call them "Fresh" & "Start"

Congratulations from me as well.

What you can do is check your credit record with all three credit agencies and, if there are any companies that have defaulted you after the date of IVA acceptance, you need to get them to remove those defaults. However, you won't be able to do this until you get your completion letter as you will need to send them a copy.

If you send for them now though at least you'll be ready to get those letters off!!

Congrats on getting to the end, unfortantley its the waiting game now until the closual is complete, some do a review. I contacted my IP after the last payment just to confirm and also to agree i could cancel my direct debit.

Its an odd feeling when the next batch of wages hits the account! I can't remember the last time i had money for me, lol
