I just wondered under what circumstances your IP would allow a 1 month payment break. I pay £900 per month and my IVA is due to finish early as I will be paying back my debt in full but would be happy to extend it by an extra month in order to have a month off now as I need to replace a few things in my flat and my TV has just died on me. I know it's not a life or death scenario but it would really help me out for just one month
Happy Christmas everyone x

Hi s.b, I would speak to your IP, as alot of people take a payment break for repairs. I can't see it being a problem x

Make sure you put up a good case to your IP, and don't mention the word "Christmas".

Just be honest. Things wear out and need replacing, even when you're insolvant. Besides, if you've not had any previous payment breaks and are offering to make an additi0onal payment to compensate, and are in any event repaying 100%, I can't see anyone objecting to be honest. Well done for getting so far and hope it all wraps up for you soon. If it's any consolation, there's not much worth watching on TV at the moment, tis more interesting here!

Very best wishes for Christmas,

Martin

I'm looking forward to the Doctor Who special - David Tennant, mmmmmmm!

Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, today is the present - a gift to make the most of.

Funny, that's what Dave said! He's also pleased that Billie Piper will be making a comeback in the next series!

I got into Doctor Who when Christopher Eccleston (another mmmmmmmmm! and he supports Man Utd) became the Doctor and then it improved with David Tennant. If he needs another assistant I'm available!!!
