Regarding Endmeeting's post on the Paypal card, I googled some feedback on the card. Apparently some people have been declined??? As you are aware there is no credit checks for credit quality, it is the first time I heard of people been declined as the checks could not id them??

Hi Emily,
All I can think of is that they couldn't verify the persons address or that they are who they say they are.
Not an actual credit check but an I.D. check which they still go thru the process of contacting the Credit reference agency's...I think

Yep, it does state that they will verify your ID by using the credit agency's.

I've just got mine as well, think I will use it for my petrol at first until I get confidence in it.
Hate giving in my debit card at the petrol stations...just in case[V]

Strange one that last post Emily, my initial query on another post was regarding that actual fact concerning the RBS.

I've just been accepted and I have debts with Mint who are RBS

I've replied on another post about not being able to get a Cashplus card, so it does happen!

Funny that Skippy, I had one of the free Bread cards that John Tegg was doing on his site, and they phoned because there was a problem with my email address, and they told me that I had been 'approved' and would be getting the card shortly. I thought I would just get it.

I do find it strange that you can be rejected for a card that you cannot use unless you put money on it yourself!
