I think that there are a few posters commenting on the lack of response from Payplan recently, but they do have a reprentative who posts on the forum called Gemma Burton who may be able to assist in speeding up a response for you.

I would personally calculate manually what you think you owe, and send this on to them, leaving the balance in a savings account to pay more over if your calculations are incorrect.

It is a shame that you find yourself having to report this on the forum, but Gemma is very respnsive and is sure to be concerned that you feel you are having a bad experience. I am sure she will sort it out for you.

Hi

Send a written letter recorded post and keep your money in your bank account making interest for you
If they cant be fussed to contact you then tough let them wait
I wasted £20 of mobile calls on stupid answering machines being told to call back and so on They should be running round after you thats what they get a fee for not you chasing them

As long as you can show you have made an attempt then you are in the clear

Remember you are dealing with admin and office people things go missing systems go down the usual '' team briefings'' cant be bothered tell them to call back I am far too busy eating my biscuits and chin wagging Thats office life seen it year in year out
dont stress about it ;)

IPs should not be spending their time "running around" after clients who know they have a responsibility to pay over uplift. I cannot speak for Payplan, but in my firm we send our clients an Excel spreadsheet each year, that they keep and fill in which automatically shows the amount of uplift needed to be paid into the IVA on a monthly basis. It is the responsibility of the debtor to check this and not the IP to chase it.

Hi mitch2311. I'm just waiting for closure with Payplan after just over 3 years of monthly payments. I never had a problem with overtime payments. I used to post or email my pay slips and by amending my template covering letter to my IP every month, and I usually got a reply within 2 weeks with the figure to pay. One time it was worked out over the phone, and I paid with my debit card. When I first started out, I used to try and work it out myself by putting aside 50% of the net overtime, which was always higher than they asked for. Hope this helps. x

I can only speak from my own experience, but I’ve never had problems contacting and receiving responses from PayPlan either by phone, e-mail or through the PayPlanPlus website. Unusually, I’ve needed to speak to my case officer twice this week, (I usually e-mail), and was able to speak with him straight away. Both issues were dealt with at the time and I received a letter two days later confirming what had been sorted.

I also just wanted to add we are with Payplan - I scan my husband's paylsips over every month and by the end of that same day I always have a response quoting the amount (if any) needed to be paid. I certainly have no complaints. Unusually we have also needed some advice this week - my husband phoned and got the advice he needed - admittedly not directly from our case worker who was busy on another line with a client, but from another member of staff. Have to say have always found them very reachable and helpful. I hope you get this sorted.
