I want to move to new zealand, i am a nurse, drowning in debt but have the points to go to NZ. Do you think i would be accepted for permenant residency in NZ if i had an IVA?

Hi Rita and welcome to the forum

I have a couple of clients who have emigrated to NZ (they are also nurses funnily enought!) and there has been no problem with their application for residency. You are best advised to contact the New Zealand immigration authority for definitive advice about your own situation however.

Good luck down under!

Hi rita,
This is a copy of an answer I have found on a website, the question is will it effect my application?

For skilled visas it is not likely. For business visas it would be the kiss of death. For any visa it can be considered against "character" but in my experience is not.

You could visit
