in my opinion and experience Synergi are ok[:0]

nothing more nothing less

I prefered the company we were with before Synergi took over but I thought they were excellent.[:(]

Synergi do leave us alone, they have always dealt with any requests not always quickly but usually to our satisfaction.

to the best of my knowledge we have not been assigned with an IP but as of yet the different people in the office we speak to have been able to help.

Synergi School Report

Communication - Could do better

Attention to detail - fairly good

Speed in dealing with requests - more like the tortoise than the hare (That maybe a good thing in the long run but not always good for people who really do need quick responses)

Overall 6 out of 10[:)]

Hi Synstaff and welcome. I am now in my last year only 12 payments to go. Please would you feed up the line the following comments. That sometimes a quick response is needed and to speak to IP would be great. Yes the people who man the phone lines have always been very helpful but often don't follow through, like sending a payment slip when I changed bank accounts and asked for one to keep my account up to date, next letter I receive is saying I am in arrears!!.I always send documents that are requested with a day of the request. Although they may seem minor niggles being in an IVA is stressful enough and the slightest problem can take on mega proportions. I am this afternoon writing to my IP's re my car lease that will end in a few months and how I can afford to finance another lease car. For me having a car isn't a luxury as with out I can't work also need to take to husband to hospital for various appointments and because of his illness public transport is expensive and difficult.

Sorry for the rant but things won't change if people don't know what the issues are

Its great that you are posting on the board.

Hi Synstaff. I came on this forum when I thought our firm had badly let down a poster. Luckily it was not us that time but we all make mistakes. Since coming on the forum it has helped tremendously by finding out what are the clients' main concerns before, during and after the IVA. I personally have learned an enormous amount from the experts and posters which I hope will be of benefit to our clients.

It is good you are posting and your own clients will benefit. You are right to take pride in your job and your firm and there have been plenty of positive comments made.

I am with Synergy and have been for a couple of years. The start was an absolute nightmare. They would never ring you back, would not reply to letters and then would have the cheek to send you rude letters saying you haven't done what they asked. On two occassions I demanded to speak to my IP as I get was getting pushed from pillar to post with so many different staff and all I can say is that the staff back then must have been trained by the IP as she was the rudest arrogant lady I have ever spoken to. She spoke over me and told me blunt if I didn't like it to go bankrupt and they would keep my upfront fees!!

Saying all that they are now so different. They answer the phones quicker, you now deal with one main contact who knows your case inside out and replies by e-mail, phone etc very quickly. This gives me the reassurance that I need during these hard times. They do leave me alone which is nice and they at last seem to be sympthetic to us although they still need to lighten up a bit on the expenditure costs as they do expect you to live on absolute peanuts!!

So back in 2007 they were the worst ones in my books but now I think they are doing a great job at turning the company around and they are getting there. It is really good to see them posting on here too, lets hope the directors see this too.

Not one of us is perfect - I learned that today when I realised I had made an error an a case - it happens in all firms and we are only human. I think the IP profession has worked hard over the last couple of years, and is continuing to do so at perhaps its most busy time. We won't get it right every time - but we try and try do do our best - and I am glad that you are reporting a postive experience about this firm who often get a lot of flak on this forum.
