Great to hear he's improving, bless him.

Just shows how important it is to have pet insurance and a good IP [;)]

Great news to see he is on the mend - and also that your insurance company are picking up the bill.

Henry's insurers are excellent - Vets bill them directly by computer link so they get paid almost immediately. They never quibbled even about the home visits!

That's excellent news - I have to pay mine out and then claim it back.

We're the same Jan, pay it out and then get re-imbursed within a few weeks, minus the excess of course.

Still, wouldn't risk being without the insurance.

Me neither. Once the excess has been paid though, at least you know you will get the money back for the rest.

I'm thinking of changing Harry's insurance back to Petplan as the more I read about them the more I think I'd be happier.

A rep from Henry's insurers has just telephoned to ask how Henry is getting along and to say that we must not hesitate to take him to the Vet however long it takes for he is fully covered. How about that for service!

Max, on the strength of what you have said I have switched Harry's insurance back to Petplan today.

I'm glad Henry's on the mend, and please give him a cuddle from me xxx

Don't worry Skippy you will not be let down by Petplan - if your Vet does not have the computer based payments system he can always invoice them direct by post - in other words you may not have to pay up front. Henry has had his "Skippy hug" just before I typed this!
