Foggy, are you referring to the fear of the unknown?
If we all threw our problems in a pile and saw everyone else’s, we’d grab ours back.

Ah now, there's a question. Luckily I don't know what I don't know, so don't fear what I don't know .....

does that make sense ?

..I dunno [:D]

[:0] Foggy!

I've got Harry insured as he goes outside and my main worry is he'll get run over.

It costs me £20 a month but I like the peace of mind.

If he's going to be a house cat Foggy - does he actually need jabs?

I would recommend getting him neutered otherwise your place is going to stink!!!

That's a good point Jan, he probably doesn't need the jabs if he's not going out. I would definitely have him neutered though!

Yes -- the old brick job is next on the list !!!

My daughter has several cats and there are a couple in neighbouring properties, so, even though he's destined to be a house cat it's best to be safe.

[:0] Foggy! Don't say that in Fred's earshot!

In that case it's probably a good idea to have him vaccinated - better to be safe than sorry.

I would definitely get him done but not bother with jabs if he's confined to the household. I wouldn't be lining the vets pockets unless I had to.

The jabs are vital if anyone or another animal can bring anything in to the house if he's not going out, if they go out like my lab he builds up his own immune system, I only vacinate for 5 years and then no more (another reason they can't go to kennels) but the Cocker who doesn't go out has to have vaccinations as Biscuit could bring something in with him that the cocker would pick up straight away. No other animals, no vaccination in my opinion.
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.

We do our dogs every year as they do go out - I wouldn't bother with a house cat though.
