Depends where in the Midlands you are inaiva.

By me in South Staffs there are at least two stations at 115.9. Also courtesy of petrol prices - what a godsend that site is!

I remember when i first started driving i used to wonder why people complained about petrol prices increasing. To be honest i didnt really notice much difference.
BOYYYYYYYY i do now. One of the kids goes to school out of town. I used to put £20 pound a week in. Not any more though. I'm lucky if that lasts 3 days now.

I am lucky i have a company car and all my personnel fuel is paid for, admittley i get taxed on it, put that tax through my wage is the same everymonth no matter what petrol costs.

But i really feel for people who have to pay their own, becuase this i am sure will bite in to extra money you have from not spending in to other arears, ips should be able to help reduce payments to help everybody with this

Hi there

I wish I could cycle or walk to work. It would be so much healthier too. I have noticed the drain on my finances with these increases as I drive 25 miles to work and another 25 back home; that's 50 per day! I have included that in my I&E also along with the dreaded disgusting increase in the council's tax. I have had a 'bit' of a pay rise in April and I feel no better off with my expenditure. But the tax on fuel is so high, I cannot understand why the government have to take so much!!!? money grabbers!!!

The government take too much because they would like to force cars off the road. All this about shortage of fuel is a load of b**l there are plenty of reserves for the next 20 years and by then they can start looking at alternative sources of fuel for cars.
